Who operates this website

UCRI is the public name used for an initiative operated under United Children’s Relief Fund, a Michigan domestic nonprofit corporation. These terms apply when you visit this website, contact UCRI through a link on it, volunteer, propose a chapter, or make a donation through a linked service.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

Information on this website

UCRI works to keep its public information accurate and source-backed, but the website is provided for general information and may be corrected, expanded, or removed as records change. Nothing on this website is legal, tax, financial, medical, or professional advice.

Dates, project descriptions, and financial statements apply only to the period and source identified with them. Do not treat a past activity as a promise of a future result.

Donations and payment services

Donation buttons send you to PayPal, an independent payment provider. PayPal's terms, privacy practices, transaction records, and payment security apply to the transaction. UCRI does not collect payment-card details through this website.

Donation descriptions explain UCRI's general mission and do not guarantee a particular beneficiary, project, date, quantity, or outcome. Keep the receipt supplied by the payment provider and consult a qualified adviser regarding your individual tax treatment.

Volunteers, chapters, and community projects

Sending an inquiry does not create an employment relationship, partnership, agency, franchise, sponsorship, or official UCRI chapter. A proposed chapter or fundraiser may use the UCRI name only after written confirmation from UCRI and only within the approved scope.

Organizers must follow applicable law, school or venue rules, safeguarding requirements, and any written UCRI instructions. A parent, guardian, or responsible adult should be involved when a minor participates in an activity requiring supervision or consent.

Copyright and permitted use

Unless a source or license states otherwise, UCRI website text, original artwork, branding, page design, and other original material are owned by or used with permission of United Children’s Relief Fund and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

You may view and share links to public pages for personal, educational, or noncommercial purposes. You may not copy UCRI branding, imply endorsement, solicit donations in UCRI's name, or republish substantial website content without written permission.

External links

This website links to services and sources operated by others, including PayPal, Instagram, Google, and public-source websites. UCRI does not control their availability, security, accessibility, content, or policies. A link does not by itself mean that UCRI endorses every statement or service on the destination website.

Disclaimer and limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, UCRI and United Children’s Relief Fund are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of this website or an external service. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and governing law

UCRI may revise these terms by posting an updated date on this page. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to later website use.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
